The 2000 Skate America was an international, senior-level invitation-only figure skating competition organized by the USFSA. It was the first ISU Grand Prix event of the season. Medals were awarded in four disciplines: men's singles, ladies' singles, pair skating, and ice dancing.[1][2]
The 2000 competition was held at the World Arena in Colorado Springs, Colorado from October 26 through 29th. The compulsory dance was the Westminster Waltz.
