Anisomeridium is a genus of lichenized fungi in the family Monoblastiaceae.[1] The type species was originally named Arthopyrenia xylogena by Swiss botanist Johannes Müller Argoviensis in 1883; in 1928, Maurice Gustave Benoit Choisy defined the genus Anisomeridium, designating A. xylogena the type species.
