The Visakhapatnam beach road from here to Bhimli will be developed at a cost of Rs. 200 crore to promote tourism as a part of the smart city project"Vizag to develop beach road under smart city project". . Four locations had already been identified in Vizag to make INS Viraat as a Museum.[3]
