Belaya Rus (Belarusian: Белая Русь, lit. 'White Russia') is a Belarusian public association founded on 17 November 2007 to support President Alexander Lukashenko. It is based on the idea of the Russian party United Russia, but is not registered as a political party.[1] The leader of the association is minister of Education of Belarus, Alexander Radkov (Russian: Александр Радьков). The organisation has a membership of over 130,000.[2]
