Borownica [bɔrɔvˈnit͡sa] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Janów Lubelski, within Janów Lubelski County, Lublin Voivodeship, in eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) west of Janów Lubelski and 61 km (38 mi) south of the regional capital Lublin.
