Bothrops pradoi is a species of venomous snake in the family Viperidae.[2] It is endemic to Brazil.[3]
Etymology
The specific name, pradoi, is in honor of Brazilian herpetologist Alcides Prado, who was one of Hoge's colleagues at the Instituto Butantan in São Paulo, Brazil.[4]
Taxonomy
Some authorities consider this species to be a synonym of Bothrops leucurus.[1]
