The Christian Values Party (Swedish: Kristna värdepartiet) is a Christian conservative party in Sweden. It was founded in January 2014 in opposition to the mainstream Christian Democrats. The party opposes abortion, same-sex or single adoption, and sex education, and advocates state policy to promote exclusively heterosexual marriage, homeschooling and parochial schooling, and sharper penalties for severe violent and sexual offenses.[1]
