Connell Maynor (born January 21, 1969) is an American football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at Hampton University, a position he assumed in December 2013. Maynor previously served in the same capacity at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) from 2010 to 2013, compiling a record of 45–6. During his tenure, the Rams won two Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) championships and advanced to the NCAA Division II National Championship game in 2012.[1] He also played in the Arena Football League (AFL) from 1996 to 2006.[2]
