"Dance Wit' Me" was a hit dance/funk song for Rick James in 1982. It is also the opening track on James' album Throwin' Down, which was released the same year. Roy Ayers plays a vibes solo on the song.[1] Released as the second single from Throwin' Down, it peaked at number three on the Billboard R&B Singles chart, number seven on the Dance chart and number sixty four on the Hot 100.
