David Alexander "Dave" Ewing (June 1881 – June 1926) was an English professional football left back who played in the Football League for Chesterfield Town.[1]
Near the end of his career, he joined Newport County for their debut season in 1912–13. He made his debut against Llanelly in a 2–1 defeat. He went on to play in another 13 matches before leaving Newport.[3]
