David Mathebula was born on 24 June 1983 at Mtswetweni village, (Bungeni Tribal Authority), 5 KM from the Valdezia Mission Station and 21 KM south east of Elim Hospital, in the former Gazankulu homeland in Limpopo province, then known as the Northern Transvaal. He is a South African football (soccer) player. He plays for the Premier Soccer League club SuperSport United, usually as a defensive midfielder or central midfielder.[1] He can also play as a right winger.
