Gauldry, locally always The Gauldry,[2] is a village in Fife, Scotland. It is located 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) southwest of Newport on Tay, 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) south-east of Balmerino, and 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) south of Bottomcraig.[3] The name derives from the Scots "gallow raw", the row of houses leading towards the gallows on Gallowhill to the east.[2]
The village is home to Balmerino Primary School and the Morison Duncan Hall.
