Girish Khatiwada (Nepali: गिरिश खतिवडा ) (born 21 March 1982) also known as "Gorkhali G" is a Nepali rapper from Kathmandu, Nepal. He is a Nepali hiphop recording artist and is the host of the Nepalese hip hop show on Kantipur FM.[3]
Early life
Girish Khatiwada aka Gorkhali G/ Girish/ DJ Girish/ G.P./ Girish Pranil is a Nepali hiphop recording artist. He is among the most acclaimed rapper in the Nepali music industry. He used to be a member of GIRISH & THE UNITY[4] which is one of the famous Nepali Band in Nepal. Girish started off hiphop music at a very young age when there were no other mainstream rapper existed in the NEPHOP. His first rap song 'Ma Yesto Chu Ma usto chu' did a good justice to the rapper. It was the first song where the rapper got a chance to showcase his talent to the nepali hiphop community. Eventually, he ended up being a solo rapper artist and released his debut album. Which was Dropout in 2008 with widespread critical and commercial success. He went on to explore a variety of rap songs by collaborating with many RNB and Pop singers.
