Gunda thwaitesii is a species of moth in the family Bombycidae. It was described by Moore in 1883. It is found in Sri Lanka.[1]
Adult is about 62mm in length. Female is yellowish brown in color. Antennae ochreous. There is a pale streak on the vertex of abdomen. Fore wings with outer line less angled. There is a dark apical patch.[2]
