Guntakal–Dhone section connects Guntakal of Anantpur district and Dhone of Kurnool district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh.[1] Further, this section converges with Kacheguda–Dhone section]] at Dhone. It is administered under Guntakal railway division of South Central Railway zone, except the Nandyal railway station which is under Guntakal railway division.
The project
The railway section has a total length of 68.54 km (42.59 mi).[2]
