Henry Laurence Lindo was a Jamaican Civil Servant.

In 1935 he entered Her Majesty's Civil Service as Her Majesty's Inspector of Schools for Jamaica.
From 1939 to 1952 he was Administrator of the island of Dominica, the first West Indian to hold the position.
During his administration he improved the island's roads.
From 000000001962-08-01-0000August 1962 to 000000001973-12-01-0000December 1973 he was High Commissioner (Commonwealth) for Jamaica in London.^[1]
