KPAW is a commercial radio station located in Fort Collins, Colorado, broadcasting to the Fort Collins, Colorado and Cheyenne, Wyoming areas on 107.9 FM. KPAW airs a classic rock music format branded as "107.9 The Bear". The station also airs an alternative rock music format on HD sub-channel 2 branded Radio 94.9 that can also be heard on K235BT (94.9 FM).
History
The station was known as KCOL-FM beginning on July 7, 1979. On June 1, 1988, the station changed its call sign to KIMN and on June 23, 1995 to the current KPAW,[1]
