Karin Iten (August 11, 1956[1] – May 18, 2010) was a Swiss figure skater. She won the bronze medal at the 1973 European Figure Skating Championships.[2] She died on May 18, 2010 in Winterthur from the effects of diabetes.[3]
She was the inventor of the Biellmann spin, which was later named after Denise Bielmann, who made this spin famous.
