Kulungugu is a small town in the Upper East Region of Ghana and a minor entry point at the border of Burkina Faso and the Bawku Municipal District of Ghana.[1]
Kulungugu is noted as the site of a failed attempt at the assassination of Ghana's first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.[2][3]
