Kumdere is a village in the Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. At 37°05′N 34°59′E / 37.083°N 34.983°E it is situated in the southern slopes of the Toros Mountains and to the west It is situated to the west of Turkish state highway
. Its distance to Tarsus is 32 kilometres (20 mi) and to Mersin is 55 kilometres (34 mi).[1] Its population was 224 [2] as of 2012.
