Lansium is a genus in the mahogany (Meliaceae) family, containing one and possibly more species.[1] The species Lansium parasiticum is a tropical fruit-bearing tree that is cultivated in tropical Southeast Asia, and on a much smaller scale elsewhere in the tropics.
