Line 1 of the Changsha Metro (Chinese: 长沙地铁1号线; pinyin: Chángshā Dìtiě Yī Hào Xiàn) runs from Kaifu District to Tianxin District. It starts at Kaifu District Government and ends at Shangshuangtang. The total length is 23.55 km. Line 1 is color is red. This line began operation on June 28, 2016, from Kaifu District Government to Shangshuangtang.
