Margaret Ann Throup[1] (born 27 January 1957) is a British Conservative Party politician.
Early life
Margaret Throup was born on 27 January 1957. She graduated from the University of Manchester with a BSc in Biology.[2]
Political career
Throup stood for Colne Valley in 2005[3] and for Solihull in 2010,[4] narrowly losing each time.
Throup has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Erewash since May 2015.[5]
Throup was opposed to Brexit prior to the 2016 referendum.[6]
