Makowlany [makɔˈvlanɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sidra, within Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Sidra, 16 km (10 mi) north of Sokółka, and 50 km (31 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
