Nadsur Caves are located to the north-east of Mahad. This group has 19 Buddhist Caves belonging to 1st-2nd century A.D.One of the caves is Chaitya and other caves are mere Vihara. Caves were occupied by Mahayana Buddhist in 5th century A.D.[1]
Caves has two notable inscriptions shows name of donors.[1]
