Paragunnellichthys fehlmanni is a new goboid fish (microdesmidae) and is agenus of wormfishes native to the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean.[1]

There are currently two recognized species in this genus:[1]
- Paragunnellichthys seychellensis C. E. Dawson, 1967 (Seychelles wormfish)
- Paragunnellichthys springeri C. E. Dawson, 1970
