The spider genus Paratheridula with its single species Paratheridula perniciosa is widely distributed (from the United States to Chile);[1] it is suspected that it is introduced. The female epigyne is covered with a secretion.
Distribution
The species has been found from Florida to southern Chile, with a possible pantropical distribution.
