Pseudocrioceras duvalianum is an extinct species of ammonite cephalopod.
Description
Shellls of Pseudocrioceras duvalianum can reach a diamenter of about 17–23 centimetres (6.7–9.1 in). [2] These ammonites are tripartite with ancyloceratid-like coiling and quite closed spirals. The section of the horl is subrectangular. They show at first fine radial ribs with ventral tubercles, then groups of 2-3 ribs. [1][3]
Distribution
These ammonites have has been found in strata of the Barremian age of France. [1]
