Pultenaea ausfeldii Regel | |
Pultenaea pedunculata, commonly known as matted bush-pea, is a prostrate shrub that is endemic to south-eastern Australia. It is a member of the genus Pultenaea and the family Fabaceae.[2] The pea flowers are usually yellow with red centres, appearing between September and December in the species native range. The pods which follow are flat and 5 to 7 mm long.[2][3]
The species was formally described in 1828 by English botanist William Jackson Hooker in 1798 in The Botanical Magazine.[1]
It occurs in dry forest in South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and New South Wales [2] In Victoria, associated tree species include Eucalyptus macrorhyncha and Eucalyptus obliqua.[4]
