The Roman Catholic Diocese of Montenegro (Latin: Dioecesis Nigromontanus) is a diocese located in the city of Montenegro in the Ecclesiastical province of Porto Alegre in Brazil.
History
The diocese was erected by Pope Benedict XVI on 2 July 2008 from a subdivision of the Archdiocese of Porto Alegre.[1][2]
