Sharks and Little Fish is an acclaimed best-selling novel written by German author Wolfgang Ott. First published in 1954, it is based on the author's own experiences as a young submariner. The story centers on a sailor called Teichmann, a cynical young man, thrown at the age of seventeen into the horror and cruelty of submarine warfare in World War II.[1]
