Sodium germanate (Na2GeO3) is a colorless solid chemical compound.[1]
Preparation
Sodium germanate can be preparted by the fusion of germanium oxide with sodium oxide at high temperatures.
Structure
Na2GeO3 contains polymeric GeO32− anions made up of vertex sharing {GeO4} tetrahedra.[2]
Uses
Sodium germanate is primarily used for the synthesis of other germanium compounds.
