Splendrillia raricostata is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Drilliidae.[1]
Description
The length of the shell attains 10 mm.
The color of the shell is horny brown. The whorls are excavated above and somewhat margined at the suture. They show a few strong, oblique ribs, terminating above at the periphery. The body whorl is obliquely grooved at the base. [2]
Distribution
This marine species occurs off Japan.
