Taşobası is a village in Tarsus district of Mersin Province, Turkey. It is on Turkish state higheay 
. At 37°05′N 34°56′E / 37.083°N 34.933°E it is 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) to Tarsus and 42 kilometres (26 mi) to Mersin. The population of village was 1241 [1] as of 2012.
