The Mascarene paradise flycatcher (Terpsiphone bourbonnensis) is a species of bird in the Monarchidae family found in Mauritius and on Réunion. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
Subspecies
There are two subspecies recognized:[2]
- T. b. bourbonnensis - (Statius Müller, 1776): found on Réunion
- T. b. desolata - (Salomonsen, 1933): found in Mauritius
