Texoma Medical Center in Denison]]
Texoma Medical Center was originally founded in 1965 in Denison, Texas. The old location closed and the new facility was built around 2009-2010. It is located an hour away from Dallas, and roughly 25-30 minutes from Durant, Oklahoma. Due to its distance to the Texas/Oklahoma border, is why it is called Texoma Medical Center, as it serves parts of North Texas and South Central Oklahoma. Choctaw Casino and Resort is also located roughly 20-25 minutes north of the hospital and features a wide range of amenities. And a new hotel, Hilton Garden Inn was built recently to accommodate families of those in need of the services provided by Texoma Medical Center. The Hotel also provides a comfortable stay for Medical Staff of the Texoma Medical Center Hospital. [2]
