The Goodbye Girl is a 2004 television film starring Patricia Heaton and Jeff Daniels.^[1] It aired on TNT and is a remake of the 1977 film of the same name.^[1] Following the plot of the original, it follows an actor who lives in an apartment along with his friend's ex-girlfriend, whom the friend has just abandoned, and her pre-teen daughter.
