Upeneichthys vlamingii, the southern goatfish or blue-spotted goatfish, is a species of goatfish native to the Indian Ocean coast of southern Australia. It occurs in rocky estuaries and in coastal waters with a substrate of sand. It can be found down to a depth of 100 metres (330 ft). It can reach a length of 35 centimetres (14 in) TL.[1]
