Vážany is a village and municipality (obec) in Vyškov District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 5.45 square kilometres (2.10 sq mi), and has a population of 458 (as at 3 July 2006).
Vážany lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-east of Vyškov, 32 km (20 mi) east of Brno, and 212 km (132 mi) south-east of Prague.
