Vlastec is a village and municipality (obec) in Písek District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 7.5016 square kilometres (2.8964 sq mi), and has a population of 180 (as at 2005).
Vlastec lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Písek, 48 km (30 mi) north-west of České Budějovice, and 82 km (51 mi) south of Prague.
