The Maryland Eagles are a currently a semi-professional indoor football team based in Laurel, Maryland. They are members of the Major Indoor Football League (MIFL). In 2013, the Eagles were also a full time member of American Indoor Football (AIF), a professional league. They continued to play away games as a part time member in the AIF from 2014 to 2016 until the league ceased operations in July 2016 while also playing in a regional semi-professional league full time. In 2013 and 2014, the team was known as the Washington Eagles.
