Ziaabad (Persian: ضياڈآباد, also Romanized as Ẕīā’ābād, Ẕeyā’ābād, and Zīya Abad; formerly, Shahr-e Shaqayeq (Persian: شَهرِ شَقايِق), also Romanized as Shahr-e Shaqāyeq)[1] is a city in and the capital of Ziaabad District, in Takestan County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census its population was 8,385, in 2,411 families.[2]
