RRNA endonuclease (EC 3.1.27.10, alpha-sarcin) is an enzyme.[1] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction
- Hydrolysis of the phosphodiester linkage between guanosine and adenosine residues at one specific position in 28S rRNA from rat ribosomes
This enzyme also acts on bacterial rRNA.
