Charváty is a village and municipality (obec) in Olomouc District in the Olomouc Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 8.88 square kilometres (3.43 sq mi), and has a population of 828 (as at 28 August 2006).
Charváty lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south of Olomouc and 214 km (133 mi) east of Prague.
