Furnace is a former settlement in Inyo County, California.^[1] It was located 6.5 miles (10 km) north-northwest of Funeral Peak, in the Funeral Mountains.^[1]

Patrick Clark founded the Furnace Creek Copper Company at the place in Death Valley.^[1] Furnace was a boomtown by 1905, but deserted by 1907.^[1] The Furnace post office operated from 1907 to 1908.^[1]
