Kalina is an unincorporated community in Modoc County, California.[1] It is located on the former Great Northern Railway Bieber Line 8 miles (13 km) north-northwest of Newell,[2] at an elevation of 4049 feet (1234 m).[1]
Climate
This region experiences warm (but not hot) and dry summers, with no average monthly temperatures above 71.6 °F. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Kalina has a warm-summer Mediterranean climate, abbreviated "Csb" on climate maps.[3]
