Football
Nine of the current 12 Sun Belt full members play football in the conference, with Idaho and New Mexico State also competing as single-sport members. Little Rock and UTA do not sponsor football. Coastal Carolina will play as an FCS independent in the 2016 season before joining Sun Belt football in 2017.
