Zawada [zaˈvada] (German: Sawade, German: Eichwaldau (1936-1945)) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Zielona Góra, within Zielona Góra County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 7 km (4 mi) north-east of Zielona Góra.
The village has a population of 1,629.
