Helm is an unincorporated community in Fresno County, California.^[1] It is located 13 miles (21 km) south of Kerman,^[2] at an elevation of 187 feet (57 m).^[1]

The first post office opened in Helm in 1913.^[2] The city name is from William Helm, sheep rancher who arrived in 1859.^[2]
