Šakvice is a village and municipality (obec) in Břeclav District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 11.92 square kilometres (4.60 sq mi), and has a population of 1,369 (as at 28 August 2006).
Šakvice lies approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) north-west of Břeclav, 35 km (22 mi) south of Brno, and 213 km (132 mi) south-east of Prague.
